Tree Pose
Legs
Stand on one leg and place the sole of your other foot high on your inner thigh, knee pointing out to the side. Press your foot into your thigh and your thigh into your foot; that mutual pressure creates stability. Hands can come together at your chest or reach overhead. Gaze at a fixed point in front of you — that helps your balance more than you'd think. Breathe. You should feel your standing leg, glute, and core all working to hold you upright and still. This is balance work as much as it is a stretch.
