Drag Curl
Arms
The drag curl keeps the bar close to your body the entire rep, which means you cannot swing it away like you might in a loose barbell curl. Load the barbell and stand with feet shoulder-width apart, knees slightly bent. Let the bar rest against your thighs at the start. Curl the bar upward, dragging it along your body — chest, ribs — as you pull, keeping your elbows up and slightly forward. Your elbows stay ahead of your hands throughout, not locked. This eliminates momentum.
