EXERCISE · DUMBBELL
Incline Bench Preacher Curl
Arms
Set an incline bench to a shallow angle and drape one arm over the top edge so the back of your upper arm rests against the pad, elbow pointing down. That contact turns the bench into an improvised preacher pad, locking your shoulder in place the way a dedicated preacher bench would. Curl the dumbbell up toward your shoulder, then lower it until your arm is fully straight and you feel a real stretch at the bottom. Keep your chest against the bench and avoid letting your elbow lift off the pad as the weight gets heavy — that's the cheat this setup is designed to prevent. Move slowly, especially on the way down, since the fixed arm position removes any help from your shoulder or back.
