EXERCISE · DUMBBELL
Reverse Wrist Curl
Arms
Rest your forearms on a bench or your thighs with your wrists hanging just past the edge, palms facing down, holding a dumbbell in each hand. Curl your wrists upward, lifting the back of your hand toward your forearm, then lower until your wrists drop as far as they comfortably will. This targets the muscles on top of your forearm — the ones a standard, palms-up wrist curl skips entirely. Keep your forearms pinned in place throughout; only your wrists should move. Use a slow, controlled tempo in both directions, since this is a small range of motion where momentum can easily take over from the muscle.
