Side Plank
Core
Stack your feet and prop yourself up on one forearm, elbow under your shoulder, lifting your hips until your body forms a straight line from ankles to head. What gives out first is usually the hip on the working side — it starts to sag toward the floor as your obliques fatigue and your lower back tries to take over. The instant you feel that dip, either drop your top knee to the floor for support or come out of the hold rather than letting your hips hang. Hold one side fully, then switch — most people find one side noticeably weaker, so give it the extra work.
