Wheel Pose
Back
The biggest trap is throwing your head back and trying to put it on the crown of your head, which crunches your neck. Instead, keep your head in a neutral position — your eyes should look toward the ceiling without your neck bending back. Lie on your back with your knees bent and your feet flat on the floor, close to your hips. Press through your hands and feet to lift your hips, then walk your shoulders in closer. The stretch and opening run through your whole front side, from your chest through your hip flexors. Engage your legs to protect your lower back. Hold this position steadily and do not crank your neck.
