Single-Arm Lat Pulldown
BackArms
Working one arm at a time means your weaker side can't hide behind the stronger one, which is the whole reason to reach for this over a two-handed pulldown. Sit facing the machine, one hand on the handle, and pull your elbow down and back toward your hip, letting your torso rotate slightly with the pull rather than staying rigidly square to the machine. Squeeze your shoulder blade down and in at the bottom, then let the weight pull your arm back to a full stretch overhead with control. Keep your other hand braced on the seat or your thigh for stability, not to help the pull along.
