Neutral-Grip Pull-Up
BackArms
Grip a set of parallel handles so your palms face each other rather than facing away from you, and pull yourself up until your chin clears the bar. The neutral grip keeps your shoulders in a more naturally stable position than an overhand grip, which is often easier on the joints and lets your biceps contribute more to the pull. Keep your elbows tracking down and slightly forward rather than flaring out to the sides. Lower all the way to a full hang between reps rather than stopping short. If your setup doesn't have fixed neutral handles, this grip is only available where the bar allows your palms to face inward, so the equipment shapes which grip you can actually use.
