L-Sit

Core

Sit on the floor with your hands pressed down beside your hips, palms flat. Your arms straighten as you push down and lift your entire lower body off the ground — your legs extend straight out in front of you, parallel to the floor. This is the L shape: a 90-degree angle at your hips. Your chest stays upright and your shoulders pull down and back. Hold here, keeping your core tight and your legs locked straight. If full L-sits are tough, bend your knees slightly to take pressure off your upper body, then work toward straightening out.
