Decline Sit-Up

Core

Lie back on a decline bench with your feet hooked under the pads near the top and your head toward the lower end. Curl your torso up and forward, leading with your chest rather than yanking with your neck, until you're sitting upright. The decline angle means you're pulling your bodyweight uphill for part of every rep, which adds more resistance than a sit-up on a flat floor. Lower back down under control rather than letting gravity drop you, since the same angle that makes the way up harder also makes the way down easy to rush. Keep your chin tucked slightly so your neck stays relaxed and your abs are doing the lifting, not your hip flexors.
