Weighted Decline Sit-Up

Core

Set up on a decline bench, feet hooked under the pad, head lower than your hips. That angle adds range at the bottom -- your torso drops further back than a floor sit-up allows -- and more resistance at the top, since you're working against a steeper pull of gravity the whole way. Hold your weight at your chest, curl your torso up leading with your chest rather than yanking with your neck, and come all the way up until you're near vertical. Lower back with control instead of dropping into the stretch at the bottom; the decline angle punishes a fast, uncontrolled descent more than a flat bench does.
