Doorway Shoulder Stretch
Shoulders
Reach up and grip the top of the door frame with both hands, arms straight. Walk your feet back slightly and let your hips sink down and back as if starting to sit, so your bodyweight pulls your shoulders into an overhead position without you forcing it. Keep your ribs down rather than flaring them up toward the frame — that keeps the stretch in your shoulders instead of your lower back. This is a different angle than a forearms-on-the-frame chest stretch: your arms stay straight and overhead, opening the front and top of your shoulder joint rather than across your chest. Ease into it slowly; sinking too fast just makes you grip harder instead of relaxing.
