Happy Baby

Core

Most people try to straighten their legs and pull their knees all the way to their shoulders, which tightens the hip instead of opening it. Lie on your back and bend your knees, bringing them toward your armpits. Grab the outside edges of your feet or your shins. Your shins can be vertical, at an angle, or even parallel to the floor—whatever feels good. Gently press your knees toward the floor on either side of your chest without forcing. Relax your head and shoulders into the floor. Rock gently side to side if it feels nice. The stretch should feel calm and open. If your lower back lifts off the floor, back off the intensity.
