Lat Stretch

Back

Stand with your feet hip-width apart. Raise one arm overhead and reach it across your body and slightly back, as if reaching around a wall behind you. Keep both feet planted flat on the ground. Let your torso lean into the stretch gently, but do not force it or twist your spine. The stretch runs along the side of your body from your armpit through your ribcage down to your obliques. Breathe into it. You should feel a gentle pull, never sharp pain or pinching. If you feel pinching in your shoulder, back off immediately.
