Medicine Ball Slam
Core
Stand with feet shoulder-width apart, holding the ball with both hands. Raise it overhead, reaching up through your whole body rather than just your arms, then drive it down into the ground in front of you as hard as you can, folding at your hips as you slam it. Your core does the work of transferring that speed from your arms into the floor. Let your knees bend naturally as you follow the ball down, then either catch it on the bounce or step forward and pick it back up to reset. Reset your stance fully between reps rather than rushing straight into the next throw — the power comes from a clean setup each time, not from how fast you can chain slams together.
