Weighted Neutral-Grip Pull-Up
BackArms
Grip with your palms facing each other instead of down or up. That hand position is easier on your shoulders than a normal pull-up and pulls your forearms and biceps into the movement more than a wide overhand grip does. Start from a full hang, arms straight, then pull your chin above your hands by driving your elbows straight down along your sides. Keep your torso fairly upright rather than swinging back to build momentum. Lower all the way to a dead hang before the next rep -- with weight added, it's tempting to stop the descent early, but the full stretch at the bottom is where this grip earns its keep.
