Pendulum Squat

LegsCore

Load yourself into the machine with your back against the pad and your feet on the platform below you, positioned like you're about to squat down a slight incline. The pad swings on an arc as you move, so the resistance changes through the range rather than staying constant like a straight bar path would. Push your hips back and bend your knees to lower yourself down the arc, keeping your feet flat and your knees tracking over them. The machine handles your balance, so you can focus entirely on depth and control rather than staying upright — go slower on the way down than you're used to, since the resistance builds as you descend.
