Wall Slide

ShouldersBack

Stand with your back against a wall, heels a few inches out from the base, and slide your arms up the wall from your sides to overhead, keeping your elbows bent at 90 degrees and your back flat against the wall. Your shoulders, upper back, and the back of your head should maintain contact throughout; if your lower back arches away or your head drifts forward, your posture has broken and you should reset. Slide smoothly and pay attention to any tight spots in your shoulders or upper back — they tell you where you need mobility work. This teaches you the postural position your body should hit when your arms are overhead.
