Weighted Chest-to-Bar Pull-Up

Back

Pull higher than a standard pull-up -- the bar should meet your upper chest, not just clear your chin. That extra height only comes from driving your elbows down and back, not from craning your neck forward to close the gap. Keep your shoulder blades pulling together as you rise, chest leading the movement instead of your chin. Lower under control through the same full range you just earned. With added weight on top, the last few centimeters to the bar are where most reps quietly get shortened -- hold yourself to the same height every time.
