Weighted Toes to Bar
CoreBack
With the weight held between your feet or strapped at your ankles, hang from the bar and curl your hips under as you raise your legs so your toes travel up and in toward the bar rather than just forward. The extra load makes the top third of the lift — where your legs are highest and furthest from the bar — noticeably harder than the unweighted version, so a slight kip through your shoulders to start the swing is fair game. Lower under control rather than letting the weight snap your legs back down, which is where most of the strain on your low back happens.
