3-Point Row

3-Point Row

Back

This row is called three-point because your feet, shoulder, and head form a tripod — you are half-kneeling, one knee down and one foot forward, leaning on your rear hand. This posture forces one side of your back to row in isolation, which means no cheating, no shoulder shrug, no twisting at the hips. It is harder than a standing row because you have less stability and cannot generate momentum. Kneel on one knee, step the other foot forward, place one hand on the floor for balance, then row the dumbbell. Your elbow stays close to your ribs. Row to your hip and squeeze your shoulder blade.
