EXERCISE · BOX
Box Jump (Depth)
Legs
Step off the box backward instead of jumping up onto it — the drop is the point. Land on both feet together, knees soft and hips back like you're sitting into a low chair, letting your ankles and knees quiet the impact instead of taking it stiff-legged. The instant your feet touch the floor, reverse the motion and drive straight up into a jump, treating the ground contact like a spring rather than a stop. A loud, flat landing means the drop height is beating your legs — bring the box down until you can land silently. Reset your stance fully between attempts rather than stringing bounces together.
