Jump Squat
Legs
Most people bounce out of a jump squat and land stiff, turning their knees into shock absorbers and losing the power payoff. Go down into a squat like a normal squat, knees tracking over your toes, chest upright. Explode upward hard, leaving the floor completely. When you land, absorb the impact by bending your knees and sitting back into a squat immediately — you are catching yourself with muscle tension, not just collapsing. This absorb-and-catch is what makes the exercise work. Do not rush the rep; each jump should land clean before you start the next one.
