Half Camel Pose
Back
Kneel with your hips stacked over your knees, tops of your feet flat on the floor. Reach one hand back to rest on the same-side heel, letting your chest and hip open upward on that side. Sweep your other arm up and over your ear rather than straight overhead, so the stretch runs along your ribs instead of just your front body. Keep your hips pressed forward and level with your knees -- sinking them back toward your heels turns this into a slump instead of a backbend. Let your head follow the line of your spine rather than dropping it back to protect your neck. Hold, breathe into your chest and the front of your hip, then switch sides.
