Camel Pose
Back
The stretch should feel deep through your chest and mild through your lower back—never painful. Kneel on the floor, hips over knees, hands on your lower back with fingers pointing down. Engage your core and press your hips forward, then gently lean back, opening your chest toward the ceiling. You can rest your hands on your heels if your flexibility allows, or keep them on your back for support. Your head can follow the curve of your spine or stay neutral if that's more comfortable. Breathe into the stretch. If your lower back starts to complain, come out and try again with less depth.
