Split Jump
Legs
Most people land heavy in a split jump, which means they spend too much time braking and not enough time generating power. Start in a staggered stance, one foot forward, one back, knees bent. Explode upward and switch your legs in the air, landing with the opposite foot forward. The landing should be soft — your knees bend to absorb it, but you do not sink deep into a lunge. Immediately rebound into the next jump. The power is in the pop off the ground, not in how far forward you step. Keep your torso upright and arms moving to help with balance.
