Hurdle Jump

Legs

Drive your knees up in front of you as you jump, not behind you. Jump over an imaginary line on the floor, clearing it by driving forward and up with each rep. Land softly with bent knees and absorb the impact with your quads and glutes. Immediately jump again. The motion is rapid, light, and explosive; each rep is a quick bound, not a deep squat jump. Your arms swing naturally to help with momentum. The faster you move, the more your hip flexors and quads engage. Keep your torso upright and your chest up throughout.
