Hanging L-Sit

Core

Hang from a bar with your arms fully extended and your grip slightly wider than your shoulders. From there, raise both legs out in front of you until they're parallel to the floor, knees straight, forming an L shape with your torso. Your lats and shoulders have to work hard just to keep you still on the bar while your hip flexors and core lift and hold your legs. Point your toes and keep your legs together rather than letting them drift apart or drop. If a full straight-leg position is too much, bend your knees toward your chest instead and build the straight version up over time. Breathe normally rather than holding your breath to brace.
