Supported Fish Pose
Back
Lie back over a block or bolster placed lengthwise under your shoulder blades, so your chest lifts and opens while your head rests gently on the floor or a second prop behind you. Let your arms fall open to the sides, palms up, and allow your upper back to arch over the support rather than resisting it. Your neck should stay long and relaxed -- if it's straining or your head is unsupported, add height under your head until it isn't. Breathe slowly and let each breath widen your chest a little more. This is a passive stretch: the prop holds the shape, your job is simply to relax into it.
