EXERCISE · DUMBBELL
Weighted Reverse Nordic Curl
Legs
Same setup as a reverse Nordic curl — kneeling with your hips extended and locked straight, leaning back and controlling the fall with your quads — but holding a dumbbell against your chest to add load right where your quads are already lengthening under tension. Lean back only as far as you can control before pressing yourself back to upright. Keep your hips extended throughout; the moment they bend to help you lean back, the weight stops loading your quads the way it's meant to. Because the weight makes the descent noticeably harder, go slower rather than trying to match the range you'd manage without it.
