Bounding

Legs

Bounding teaches explosive power and single-leg stability in a way flat running doesn't. Sprint forward, but instead of quick shuffling steps, exaggerate each stride into a bound — you're spending more time in the air on each rep. Land on one leg, spring up explosively, land on the other leg, and repeat. Your arms swing powerfully. This drill builds reactive strength in your legs and teaches your nervous system to handle high forces. Don't just jog and call it bounding; there should be daylight between you and the ground.
