Hip Flexor Stretch
LegsCore
Step one foot forward into a long standing lunge, back leg straight, back heel lifted. Keep your torso tall, brace your stomach lightly, and tuck your pelvis under by squeezing the glute on your back leg — that small tilt is what actually stretches the front of your hip instead of just your calf or ankle. Bend your front knee to lower into the stretch, staying upright rather than leaning your chest over your front thigh. You should feel this along the front of your hip and down toward your thigh on the back leg, not in your knee. Keep enough of a stance that your front knee stays behind your toes.
