Lying Quad Stretch

Legs

Lie on your side, bottom leg bent slightly for balance. Reach back and grab the ankle of your top leg, pulling your heel toward your glute the same way you would standing, but without needing to balance on one foot. Keep your hips stacked rather than letting the top one roll back, which is what actually keeps the stretch on your quad instead of twisting into your lower back. This is the version to reach for when balance, not hip or knee range, is what's stopping you from holding the standing stretch long enough to settle into it.
