Typewriter Pull-Up

Back

Pull up until your chin clears the bar, then stay there. Instead of coming straight back down, shift your whole body sideways toward one hand, straightening that arm while the other bends more to take the load -- like sliding along the bar without letting go. Reverse the slide to the other side, then lower once you've traveled both ways. Your chin stays above the bar for the entire sideways travel; dipping down and popping back up in the middle defeats the point. Keep your core tight so you glide rather than swing.
