Upper Trap Stretch

BackShoulders

Sit or stand tall and tilt your head to one side, adding a slight forward tilt so your nose points slightly down and away from straight ahead. Rest your same-side hand lightly on the top of your head to add gentle weight, and anchor your other shoulder down, perhaps by holding the edge of your chair or letting that arm hang heavy. That anchored shoulder is what determines how much stretch you actually get — without it, your shoulder just rises to meet your head. You'll feel this along the top of your shoulder, between your neck and the point of your shoulder. Keep the pull light; this spot tends to be tender, not just tight.
