Diamond Push-Up
Arms
Set up in a push-up position with your hands together under your chest, thumbs and index fingers touching to form a small diamond shape. This is a narrower hand position than a close-grip push-up, so the triceps demand is even higher and your chest gets less involved. Lower with your elbows tracking back close to your ribs rather than out to the sides, and keep your body in a straight line from shoulders to ankles despite the narrower, less stable base. Press back up by driving through your palms until your elbows lock out. Expect this to feel considerably harder than a standard push-up, for the same reason a narrower grip makes any pressing movement more triceps-dominant.
