Ring Row

Back

The instability demands that your entire core stays braced; if you go slack, the rings will collapse inward. Start beneath the rings with your body angled — the steeper you are, the harder it is; beginners start more upright. Pull your chest toward the rings, squeezing your shoulder blades together at the top. Lower with control and reset. The rings will shift; that is the point. This challenge to your stability makes them more demanding than a bar.
