Legs

Most people skate by just hopping side to side, but the real work comes from the power you generate and the landing quality. Push hard off one leg and bound laterally, landing on the opposite leg with control — your knee should track over your toes. As you land, your arms swing in the opposite direction for balance and momentum. Then explode off that leg and bound the other way. The movement is dynamic but not sloppy. Each landing should feel stable, not out of control.
