Barbell Lunge

Legs

Before you step, get your bar position sorted — high on your traps or lower across your rear delts, wherever you can hold it without discomfort, and brace your core so it doesn't roll forward when you move. Step out far enough that your front shin stays roughly vertical at the bottom, not drifting past your toes. Drop straight down until your back knee hovers just above the floor, then drive through your front heel to stand back up. Keep your torso upright the whole way — leaning forward turns this into a squat with extra steps.
