Standing Forward Fold
Back
Stand with your feet hip-width apart and hinge forward from your hips, letting your upper body hang toward the floor. Keep a generous bend in your knees, especially at first, this takes tension off your hamstrings and lower back so your spine can round and release rather than fight the position. Let your head, neck, and arms hang heavy rather than reaching for the floor. Shift your weight slightly forward into the balls of your feet to keep from locking your knees back. Come up slowly by rolling through your spine, or bend your knees more and walk your hands up your legs.
