Weighted Incline Push-Up

Chest

Hands go up on a bench or step, feet stay on the floor. That incline takes weight off your hands compared to a flat push-up, so it's the version to reach for when a flat push-up under load is more than your shoulders can currently press. Keep your body in a straight line from head to heels rather than letting your hips sag toward the bench. Lower your chest to the edge of the bench, elbows at a moderate angle, then press back up fully. The steeper the incline, the easier the rep -- pick a height where the added weight still challenges you by the last one.
