Incline Machine Press
Chest
An incline press earns its spot in a routine by shifting emphasis toward the upper portion of your chest, the part a flat press tends to leave undertrained. It's not a replacement for flat pressing, more a complement to it — the two together cover more of the muscle than either alone. Set the seat so the handles start level with the top of your chest, not your shoulders. Press up and slightly back until your arms are extended without locking your elbows hard, then lower with control back to the start, letting your shoulder blades stay pinned against the pad the whole time.
