Ring Push-Up

Chest

Same push-up, unstable surface. The rings want to drift apart or rotate as you lower, so your shoulders and wrists make constant small corrections to keep them steady under your chest. Turn the rings slightly inward as you descend -- that rotation is what a fixed handle push-up never asks of you. Lower with your elbows tracking back at a moderate angle, chest toward the gap between the rings, then press away while keeping the rings from swinging. Slow and controlled beats fast here; speed is usually what sends the rings swinging wide and dumps you sideways.
