Weighted Wide Push-Up
Chest
Hands go out wider than shoulder-width, fingers pointed slightly out rather than straight ahead. That wider base shortens how far your elbows can bend, trading some range for a bigger stretch across your chest at the bottom. Lower until you feel that stretch, elbows flaring out closer to a right angle from your torso than a standard push-up allows, then press back to full extension. Keep your hips from sagging -- a wide grip makes your mid-section work harder to hold a straight line. The added weight will test that line first, well before your arms tire out.
