EXERCISE · BARBELL
Front Squat
LegsCore
The bar sits across the front of your shoulders, and the whole lift falls apart the moment your elbows drop. Keep them driven up and forward — high enough that your upper arms are close to parallel with the floor — and the bar has nowhere to go but stay put. Let them sag and it rolls straight off you. Brace your core hard before you descend, knees tracking out over your toes, torso staying tall through the whole squat since there's no way to lean forward here without dumping the bar. Drive up through your whole foot, elbows still up, all the way to standing.
