EXERCISE · KETTLEBELL
Kettlebell Front Squat
Legs
Getting into position matters more than the squat itself here. Rack one or two bells at your shoulders, elbows pointing forward and down, wrists straight rather than bent back — that rack position is what keeps the weight from crushing your chest as you descend. Squat down keeping your torso as upright as the front-loaded weight allows, knees tracking over your toes. The bells will want to pull your elbows down and your chest forward as you get deeper; fight to keep your elbows up and your chest tall all the way through, then drive up through your heels to stand.
