EXERCISE · KETTLEBELL

Kettlebell Romanian Deadlift

Legs

What decides the set is whether you hinge or squat. Your knees stay soft and mostly still; the movement comes from pushing your hips straight back, like closing a door with them. Hold the kettlebell with both hands in front of your thighs and let it travel down close to your legs as your hips shift back and your chest tips forward. You should feel a stretch building through your hamstrings, not your lower back. Stop lowering once you feel your hamstrings pull tight or your lower back starts to round, then drive your hips forward to stand, squeezing your glutes at the top.
